Mr. Kariuki embarked on starting a family business manufacturing apparel.
The aim was empowering women.
2000
Kega is on a growth trajectory and moves to a new location still in Kikuyu.
2018
Kega suffers a massive loss by losing one of its anchor clients.
The company also embarks on the establishment of a strategic plan.
2020
The pandemic declared in Kenya and is the biggest challenge Kega faces.
Kenyans were faced with having to choose primary goods, and it was not easy for Kega.
Now
Kega is emerging from difficulties by renewing the company across the board.
We are launching new products and services, transforming the entire value chain, and continuing to make a positive impact.

- Build up Kega’s hub by providing an opportunity to train the community.
- Create a facility to accommodate lactating mothers and have a nursery for the children.
